By-election, again!

Former Penang DCM Mohd Fairus Khairuddin, from PKR, has tendered his resignation as state representative for Penanti, Penang.

Mohd Fairus, 33, is quitting due to corruption allegation, which he strongly denied.

He had earlier resigned from his position as DCM on April 8 after he was unable to clear the air on the allegation linking to illegal quarry operations in Penang.

This is the sixth by-election after the 2008 general election.

Nowadays, Malaysian politicis is becoming "hyperactive" due to so many by-elections. Most of the politicians are busy on the ground, working hard to win the by-elections. They almost forget their duties on nation building.

The sad scenario was, a lot of resources, energies and taxpayer's money had been wasted just to hold the by-election.

Poor Malaysian....
