Trip to Bornion Timber rubber forest plantation

It was an amazing trip to Bornion Timber (BT) rubber forest plantation at Sook, Keningau, Sabah, last week.

It took about 3-4 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu to the plantation base camp at Sook.

On the way to Sook, I was attracted by the beautiful natural scenery of Crocker Range. However, once I reached BT base camp, I was amazed by the BT's forest management plans for an area of 109,000 ha, which is bigger than the size of Singapore!

a new life begins (after 2 weeks)

During the trip, I was exposed to the rubber plantation plans (about 30,000 ha.), planting techniques, forest reservation, the hard works, the challenges, the co-operation with China counterparts, and the visions of the project.

Definitely, this will become a super great project in the next 5 years.
