I extremely disagree with Tun's latest comment on your blog titled "Kaki Dalam Kasut".
In my personal opinion, your remarks were too racist, and would create unhealthy and tense atmosphere among the races.
Tun should not simply blamed the Chinese for what the Malay cannot achieve since Independence.
Tun should know better that the politicians who were keen on playing racial cards to gain political milages should be blamed for the unsuccessful stories of the particular races.
Tun also know that there are so many rich and well-doing Chinese who are contributing to the nation building.
Undoubtedly, Chinese are the main player in the economic sector, but they are also the main contributor to the national revenues through taxes.
Government uses the revenues generated from taxes to assist the needy groups, regardless of races.
I believe, please correct me if I am wrong, based on racial percentage the Malays have benefited the most.
But as a Malaysian Chinese, I never feel proud of the Chinese accomplishments in economic and education sectors because the Chinese are working extremely hard for it, without any privilege given.
Bear in mind that the Chinese are also sidelined and marginalised in other sectors.
Malaysian Chinese are generous to share with other races, provided there must be certain degree of fairness acceptable to both sides.
My suggestion to Tun is, just have a simple tour to the National schools and Chinese aided schools, and study closely on students' learning attitudes and culture.
Besides, talk to the teachers of the two schools, then Tun would know the differences between Malay and Chinese in nurturing their younger generation.
Tun, the Malays have all the opportunities and privileges that are protected under Constitution, and accepted by other races.
Reciprocally, the rights of other races should not be intentionally ignored by selfish quarters, especially the politicians.
My sincere advice is: Be ready to get burnt if playing around with fire!
