Economic advisor

It is great to hear that Malaysia's government is looking at the possibilities to form a council of economic advisors to help it come up with strategies to cope with the current economic slowdown caused by slowing global economy, rising fuel prices and inflation.

For the past 5 months, Malaysia politicians were too busy with unnecessary political drama while the people were struggling with the effects of price hike in fuel and commodities.

People are getting upset with the inconsistency policies in tackling the economic crisis.

The government should tell people the actual situation, the real picture of Malaysian economy, so that the people know where they are heading for.

People's faith in the government is what the ruling government has to generate now.
